Before you apply

Texas Dept of Licensing and Regulation requires the following be complete before this permit can be issued.

  • Valid Texas driver license (commercial Class A/B if applicable)
  • Complete TDLR-approved tow operator training
  • Submit fingerprints for a criminal-history review through IdentoGO (service code provided after submission).
