Before you apply

Texas Parks & Wildlife Department requires the following be complete before this license can be issued.

  • Texas Commercial Oyster Boat Captain's License
  • DSHS-certified vessel under the Texas Molluscan Shellfish Program
  • Limited-entry license tag transfer or new issuance under §76.0395
  • Pass a site inspection by a state or local health authority before opening to the public.
