Permit to take, possess, or sell nongame and exotic fish (shad, gar, suckers, etc.) from Texas public fresh waters.

Before you apply
Texas Parks & Wildlife Department requires the following be complete before this permit can be issued.
- Hold a current Texas resident or nonresident fishing license
- Identify gear type (cast net, trotline, gill net under separate authorization)
- Keep daily harvest log and submit annual harvest report
