Before you apply

Texas Parks & Wildlife Department requires the following be complete before this license can be issued.

  • Hold or acquire a transferable Commercial Finfish Fisherman's License (limited entry)
  • Active Texas Saltwater Trip Ticket program enrollment
  • Vessel registered with TPWD and U.S. Coast Guard documentation if applicable
