Before you apply

Texas Parks & Wildlife Department requires the following be complete before this license can be issued.

  • Hold or acquire a transferable Commercial Crab Fisherman's License under the limited-entry program
  • Texas commercial fishing license in good standing
  • Vessel registered with TPWD if fishing from a boat
