Authorizes the collection of broodfish from Texas public waters for licensed fish farm operations.

Before you apply

Texas Parks & Wildlife Department requires the following be complete before this permit can be issued.

  • Hold a valid Texas Fish Farmer License
  • List target species, waterbody, and collection gear
  • Agree to file the Broodstock Collection Report (PWD-1411) within 30 days of collection
